WHY WE LIKE IT:
Our tester's rough, dry hair drank up the serum right away and was exceptionally soft and smooth the next morning. Just to be clear, though, this stuff doesn't undo damage in any permanent way—when you shampoo, your hair reverts to its natural (frizzy) state. "Once hair is damaged, we can only do cosmetic things to make it look and feel healthier," says cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson. "In reality, the damage is still there."
