WHY WE LIKE IT:
The formula prevents the oversaturation of dye so color is uniform throughout hair. "It contains both pigment and positively charged polymers. These compounds are drawn to the damaged (i.e., negatively charged) areas on each strand, like the ends, that would otherwise soak up too much color", says cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson. After the process, our tester couldn't keep her hands off her hair—it was that ridiculously smooth and shiny. The color, which covered all her grays, was evenly dispersed and supervibrant.
